Every member can help shape the future of the organization. Start by learning about the International Officer and Director candidates and any proposals for amendments to the Bylaws of Toastmasters International and the Club Constitution for Clubs of Toastmasters International.
Club members also decide who will cast the clubs' two votes and if/how the club will provide instructions to a proxyholder.
Proxyholders are responsible for completing the Credentials process on time and attending the Annual Business Meeting to cast assigned votes.

All club officers help facilitate the discussion about the international candidates and proposals.
The Club President or Club Secretary is responsible for assigning the club's proxy to the designated proxyholder, prior to the deadline.
Proxyholders are responsible for completing the Credentials process on time and attending the Annual Business Meeting to cast assigned votes.

District leadersBack to Top
All District leaders act as resources of information for the clubs in their District.
District officers may facilitate conversations with the International Officer and Director candidates to get to know the candidates and learn more about their vision for the organization.
District Directors monitor the proxy assignment completion by the clubs in their District and encourage club engagement in the process. As a Delegate at Large and often a proxyholder for clubs in their District, District Directors are responsible for completing the Credentials process on time and attending the Annual Business Meeting to cast their assigned votes.

International leadersBack to Top
Current and past Board Members are Delegates at Large, as defined in Article III, Section 1.b, of the Bylaws of Toastmasters International, and are responsible for completing the Credentials process on time and attending the Annual Business Meeting to cast their assigned votes.
International leaders, including Region Advisors and Past Region Advisors, also serve as resources for the processes of the Annual Business Meeting.
