Sign up for a Sea of Possibilities — Register now for the 2023 International Convention, a hybrid experience taking place August 16-19 in beautiful Nassau, Bahamas at the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar Resort. Catch the wave of inspiration through live and livestreamed sessions and festivities.

Schedule Candidate Talk Time — Have you scheduled a conversation with the international candidates? Learn about the candidates, then use this online scheduling form to schedule time to talk.

Prepare for District Leader Training — Toastmasters International will conduct District Leader Training in person at the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar Resort in Nassau, Bahamas on August 14 and 15 for 2023–2024 District Directors, Program Quality Directors, and Club Growth Directors. District leaders will develop core leadership skills, share best practices, and network with others from around the globe. Submit your District leader list as soon as possible after District elections to ensure registration, travel, and training details are sent to elected leaders in a timely manner.

Preparing for Success — Remember what it was like when you began your current role? Is there anything you know now that you wish you knew then? Think about what your successor needs to know as they transition into your role and refer to the Transitions webpage for ideas on how you can prepare them and the District for a successful year!

Share the Convention Sponsorship Opportunity — Companies and corporate sponsors who showcase their goods/services at the Toastmasters International Convention have to opportunity to engage with a professionally-minded global audience. At the 2022 Convention, 25% of attendees even self-identified as being a primary decision maker at work! Share the sponsorship information with your professional contacts whose companies would benefit from being a convention sponsor. Email inquiries are due to corporaterelations@toastmasters.org by June 1.

Club Visit Reports Due May 31 — Area Directors: are your clubs delivering the best possible member experience? Evaluate clubs based on the standards listed in Moments of Truth, and submit your Club Visit Report through District Central by May 31. Submitting the report is a requirement toward your Distinguished Area Program goals. You should visit your clubs four times during the program year to ensure officers and members are well supported and the future of clubs in your Area is secure. Please email any questions to districts@toastmasters.org.

Report Your Alignment Changes — Each year, Districts must review and amend the alignment of clubs for Areas and Divisions. In June, District leaders will receive an important email with step-by-step instructions to submit alignment changes for the 2023–2024 program year. Alignment changes must be submitted on the template we provide in mid-June, and then emailed to districts@toastmasters.org as soon as possible, but no later than July 15.

Share 2023 Convention Resources — Encourage members and non-members to get excited about the 2023 International Convention (#TIGoesBahamas) by utilizing new promotional tools, now available. Display 2023 Convention Zoom Backgrounds in online meetings, share 2023 Convention Presentation Slides with members before meetings begin, and post 2023 Convention Social Media Graphics on social channels.
