What is your understanding of the Region Advisor role and how does your experience relate to the role?

Region Advisors use their experience to support District leaders fulfill District mission in creating new clubs and helping all clubs achieve excellence. They apply mentoring, coaching, training and share best practices with District leaders and support marketing efforts. My previous work experience as policy advisor and project manager is an asset and my current work as leadership consultant has given me counseling and guiding competences useful for the Region Advisors.

What is your experience with coaching individuals and/or teams?

In Toastmasters, most of my mentees have reached the position of Area Director or Division Director and are role models for members. Also, I have coached speech candidates to success and guided clubs, Areas, and Division to President Distinguished. Outside of Toastmasters I currently work on transforming and empowering women and some vulnerable organizations like trade unions to make their voice heard and taken into account. Coaching is part of my everyday life. I am passionate about helping others succeed.

Why are you interested in serving as Region Advisor?

My application is motivated by 3 main reasons.
Firstly, I have a lot to share from my experience as a District 94 leader before and during the covid pandemic.
Secondly, I want to use my passion for mentoring to assist District leaders and take my leadership to another level.
Thirdly, I had wonderful Region Advisors when I was a District 94 leader and they have impacted me so much that I also want to give back to others.
