What is your understanding of the Region Advisor role and how does your experience relate to the role?

The Region Advisor serves as a mentor to support and guide the District to build membership and new clubs. This role serves as the liaison between the District and World Headquarters. A good Region Advisor has the ability to provide guidance and ideas to help the trios run smoothly and recognize potential pitfalls.

What is your experience with coaching individuals and/or teams?

I enjoy coaching. As a mentor, I meet weekly with my Program Quality Director and Club Growth Director and listen to what is coming up and how they are doing. This provides them an opportunity to ask questions, brag a little and gain insights into areas they had not thought about yet. As a District Director, I am proud to say that my entire team, including committee chairs was completely filled by June 8th and during the year, we were able to address conflict before it became an issue.

Why are you interested in serving as Region Advisor?

Becoming a Region Advisor will allow me to learn from different districts. I look forward to guiding District leaders across multiple areas, helping them flourish and contributing to the global success of Toastmasters. I want to use my experience to help districts not just succeed—but thrive with sustainable systems and empowered teams. As a Region Advisor, I look forward to ensuring that the Toastmaster mission is embraced across the region.
