What is your understanding of the Region Advisor role and how does your experience relate to the role?

Region Advisors act as a liaison between World Headquarters and the Districts they serve. As a Region Advisors, I want to help Districts achieve their mission of building new clubs and supporting all clubs in achieving excellence. I hope to encourage, guide and motivate District leaders to reach their maximum potential through active goal setting. I hope to support them with their DSP so as to achieve their targets, encourage them to Plan, Prepare and Perform through regular connects, and train them, if needed.

What is your experience with coaching individuals and/or teams?

At TCS where I spent 30 years, I was part of the initial training for freshers. I have hands-on experience in coaching and mentoring individuals at Anvation Labs Pvt. Limited, and at Ufaber EduTech Pvt. Limited, I have trained young recruits who move from Campus to Corporate. These training programs helped the associates understand the difference between a college life and that of an organization and prepared them for success.

Why are you interested in serving as Region Advisor?

It's been 16+ years since I joined Toastmasters, yet the eagerness to serve and be a part of the growth trajectory, not only for our members, but for our organization, is what keeps me going. As a lifelong learner, I aspire to keep evolving into the best version of myself. That is possible, if I can continue to serve and grow through teamwork and collaboration. I am here to not just share, but to learn, unlearn, and relearn. This is why I wish to serve as a Region Advisor.
