What is your understanding of the Region Advisor role and how does your experience relate to the role?

My understanding of the Region Advisor role is that we support District leaders in achieving their District Mission, guide them during their tenure, and help provide the resources they need to succeed. I had great mentors during my time as a District leader and believe I have a good foundation for doing the same for the current leaders.

What is your experience with coaching individuals and/or teams?

I am a regular trainer at the Toastmaster Leadership Institutes for club officer roles and in electives. I have recently completed my time as a District leader and mentor current leaders. I make time to be available to all our District leaders to guide them through contests, club issues, and District events. As IPDD, I helped coach the trio on accomplishing their goals.

Why are you interested in serving as Region Advisor?

Through my tenure as a District leader, I have become adept with conflict resolution and fellow Toastmasters seek me out for advice on handling issues. I enjoy working with others. As a lifelong learner, I enjoy helping others find information and resources to help them with succeeding in the roles they take on to serve others.
