What is your understanding of the Region Advisor role and how does your experience relate to the role?

The Region Advisor role is to support and give advice to the District leadership team and the District Public Relations Manager.

My experiences related to the role are: As a District Director who was leading and guiding the District officers - if there was any conflict or issues I had to solved it. My education background was in psychology, and I am a certified coach who is coaching others. I am also a leader in my family’s company, leading 100 employees. All these experiences will contribute to my role as a Region Advisor.

What is your experience with coaching individuals and/or teams?

As a certified life coach and psychologist, I coach depressed people and those who have problems in their relationship. I motivate and enlighten them. Will help them to find the solutions.

Recently, I coached my mentee, and he became International Speech Champion and Evaluation Contests Champion.

I have also coached District 87 District leaders how to lead and support clubs under their care and how to handle people with different personalities.

Why are you interested in serving as Region Advisor?

I have 10 years’ experience in my Toastmasters leadership journey. Starting with the club level and to the District level. In my journey, I transformed myself from a cocoon to a butterfly. I learned and grew to be a better leader. It’s all because there were a lot of positive people that supported and guided me throughout my journey. I would like to serve back and guide more District leaders. At the same time, I can expand my horizon.
