Enable Member Self-Pay — An easier way for members to pay! Encourage club officers to give their members the option to submit international dues payments online. To enable Self-Pay, the officer should log in to Club Central, navigate to the Club Contact and Meeting Information page, select the toggle button in the Self-Pay setting section, and click “Save” at the bottom of the page.

Convention Goes Bahamas — Save the dates of the 2023 International Convention: August 16-19. Learn, play, and make lasting memories with the beautiful backdrop of Nassau, Bahamas at the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar Resort. More details will be unveiled soon; stay excited! Schedule Candidate Talk Time — Have you scheduled a conversation with the international candidates yet? To learn about the candidates, visit the biography pages on the International Officer and Director Candidates page on the Toastmasters International website. Then, use this online scheduling form to schedule time to talk.

Corporate Recognition Award Nominations Due — The deadline for Corporate Recognition Award nominations is 6-8 weeks prior to your presentation event. Districts scheduled for an official International Officer or International Director District Visit this spring should visit the Corporate Recognition Award program webpage for program information, marketing materials, and to submit the nomination form.

Add Credit for Club Officer Training — Recognize club officers who attended second-round training by submitting club officer training (COT) through District Central by March 31. The last day to submit second-round corrections is May 31. Please check the training report regularly to ensure it is accurate. This will help the clubs in the District receive credit toward the Distinguished Club Program.

Submit Your Area Director Visit Report — Earn credit toward the Distinguished Area program by submitting your Area Director's Club Visit report through District Central on or before May 31. We encourage you to visit your clubs four times during the program year to ensure clubs are well supported. If you would like to reacquaint yourself with club visits, please reference Serving Clubs through Visits: A Guide for Area Directors.

Help Clubs Maintain Good Standing — Ensure membership dues payments for the next renewal period are submitted by March 31 to keep clubs in good standing. If clubs in your District are struggling with membership, consider offering them a Club Coach if they qualify.

Looking for an Event Speaker? — District events are fun and informative, especially when they feature a quality speaker who members can get excited about! Remember, there are resources to help you find the perfect event speaker. You could invite a World Champion of Public Speaking or review a list of Toastmasters members who have earned the Accredited Speaker designation. You could also promote the Rotary/Toastmasters alliance by inviting a local Rotarian as a guest speaker. Additionally, there are some guidelines to help you when selecting educational speakers.
