Can clubs contribute or sponsor to hold an October/November conference?Back to Top
The Board made the decision to remove the October/November conference, and there are no exceptions. The decision was made to allow the district to focus on the district and club mission.
Can proxies be used for electronic voting?Back to Top
Proxies for virtual meetings are not permitted, and the president and vice president of education must cast their own vote. District executive committee members are entitled to one vote and may cast up to one additional vote as a club president or vice president of education of their club.
Can the first council meeting be conducted in-person?Back to Top
No, only the annual district council meeting is held in person. All other meetings are held virtually.

Voting will be conducted electronically, either during the meeting if a quorum is met, or after the meeting within a voting period established by the district.

The district council must approve the district budget and appointed officers by September 30 for submission to World Headquarters.
When will the Governing Documents reflect the changes?Back to Top
The changes take effect July 1, 2018, and the Governing Documents will be updated to reflect this sometime in July or August.
