Grow Your Club — A great way to add new members to your club is by participating in the Beat the Clock Membership-Building Program, which features a unique recognition ribbon and 10% off your next club order. To qualify, your club must add five new, dual, or reinstated members to the club and pay membership dues. Please note: these members must join between May 1 and June 30 to qualify.

Important Year End Deadlines — As you finalize club business for the program year, be sure you’re tracking Month-End Closing Dates and their impact on reporting. Please note that all club achievements (including new or reinstated members and award submissions) must be received no later than 11:59:59 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time (MDT)/Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) 6 on June 30. Submissions received on or after July 1 at 12 a.m. MDT will be applied to the 2026–2027 Program Year. For submission details, refer to the Distinguished Club Program Manual.

New Clubs Deadline: June 30 — June is the peak month for new clubs to charter. To avoid delays and ensure program year credit, submit your completed new club charter forms as early as possible—no later than 11:59 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time (MDT)/Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) 6 on June 30 to count towards the 2025-2026 Toastmaster year. If you have questions about starting a club, reference: How to Build a Toastmasters Club guide or contact the Club Quality and Member Support Team at newclubs@toastmasters.org. Remember, you can use the new Club Charter Requirements Form for easier submissions in place of Forms 2, 4,5,6a, and 6b.

Evaluation Resources — Did you know that all evaluation resources are located on toastmasters.org and on Base Camp? Members can find evaluation resources either when launching their project, in the Feedback section on Base Camp, or in the Resources section on Base Camp in all languages. The English version of these valuable resources can also be found in the Resource Library on our website with searching just the name of the project—no login required!

Recognition Program Updates — As you prepare club goals for the new program year, be sure to review the latest version of the Distinguished Club Program Manual and check out the updated FAQs for changes to the Distinguished Club Program. Please note member count consists of renewing, dual, new, charter, and reinstated members; transfer members do not count toward this total.

Bring in the Laughs — Liven up your meetings by starting off with a good joke. There’s a fine art to knowing how tell a joke that garners laughs. Help your club members learn that skill by adding a Jokemaster role to your lineup. Each meeting offers a chance for someone to hone their fun factor, and for the audience to reap the benefits.

Energize Your Meetings! — If your club feels like it could use a dash of something new, try some proven ideas to not only liven up the time, but also challenge your members in new ways. Whether you try something big or small, watch how members respond and bond in a fresh situation.

Tune in for Reflection — This month The Toastmasters Podcast will broadcast its 300th episode. Hear longtime host Greg Gazin reflect on this milestone, sharing insights from his guests and his experience. Listen on your favorite podcast platform.

Quarterfinals Underway — The 2025–2026 International Speech Contest continues at the quarterfinal level. Judging is taking place this month once each District has submitted a video of their first-place winner. Results from each quarterfinal contest will be announced by early July. Check back here to see who will be competing in the International Speech Contest Semifinals and then register to see them compete in Vancouver, British Columbia, at the Toastmasters International Convention.

2026 Accredited Speaker Program — The Accredited Speaker Program recognizes Toastmasters members who have reached professional-level status in their careers. In April, Level 1 applications and video presentations were reviewed by a panel of expert Accredited Speaker judges. We are excited to announce that three candidates will present at Level 2, taking place as part of the Toastmasters International Convention in Vancouver, British Columbia. Learn more about the Accredited Speaker Program and register to see the 2026 candidates live in Vancouver.

All-New Exploration Education — Later this year, the first exploration, Online Meeting Mastery, will be available as part of the Pathways learning experience. Explorations are in-depth learnings comprised of three projects focused on a specific topic. In Online Meeting Mastery, members will build skills for attending, presenting, and facilitating in an online setting. Learn more and check back for more information in the coming months on the Education Program FAQ.

Honoring Past Leaders, Inspiring New Ones — Congratulations and thank you to all 2025–2026 club officers and District leaders for your dedication and service. As we look ahead, encourage members (especially those who have never served) to consider stepping into leadership roles. Club leadership is a rewarding opportunity for members at all experience levels. Share this resource to help members learn more about the benefits of serving as a club officer.

Credit for Club Support Role — Looking to get credit for being a club sponsor, mentor, or coach to apply towards your Distinguished Toastmaster Award? For any of these three roles to be applied, they must be listed as “Complete” from your Achievement Board, under the Club Support History section of your profile on toastmasters.org. For more information on how to receive credit, review the Club Coach FAQ and New Clubs FAQ for Sponsor/Mentor roles.

Locate Club Central — Club Central is the main tool for a club officer. As a club officer, a link to Club Central is available to you in your My Home page. Please note, Club Central can only be accessed by an active club officer.
