Explore Education at Convention — Ready to hike to a new level of open communication, confidence, and learning? Check out the education lineup at the 2026 International Convention and sign up for insights from the 2026 Golden Gavel Honoree, a keynote speaker, two general education sessions, two extended learning education sessions, and six Toastmasters Journey Workshops.

Take Part in the Live Convention Club Meeting! — For in-person attendees, this is your chance to be part of the live club meeting experience on the 2026 International Convention stage in Vancouver! This event is designed to fully showcase the Toastmasters club experience in a high-energy environment, offering you the opportunity to participate in two ways: apply to be a club meeting experience speaker or apply to take on a club meeting experience role.

Prepare for District Leader Training — Toastmasters International will conduct District Leader Training in person at the Vancouver Convention Centre East in Vancouver, Canada on August 17 and 18 for 2026–2027 District Directors, Program Quality Directors, and Club Growth Directors. District leaders will develop core leadership skills, share best practices, and network with others from around the globe. Registration for District Leader Training is required. Submit your District leader list as soon as possible after District elections to ensure registration, travel, and training details are sent to elected leaders in a timely manner.

Ensure your Area is Distinguished — You should visit your clubs four times during the program year to support officers and members and ensure the future of clubs in your Area is secure! For support, contact districts@toastmasters.org.

Year-End Supply Order Planning — You have until June 12 at 11:59:59 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time (MDT)/Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) -6 to place supply orders or to access the District reserve account for the 2025–2026 program year! Your District accounts for 2026–2027 will be available beginning July 1.

Important Year End Deadlines — Advise your clubs as they finalize club business for the program year to track Month-End Closing Dates and understand their impact on reporting. Please note that all club achievements (including new or reinstated members and award submissions) must be received no later than 11:59:59 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time (MDT)/Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) -6 on June 30. Submissions received on or after July 1 at 12 a.m. MDT will be applied to the 2026–2027 Program Year. For submission details, refer to the Distinguished Club Program Manual.

New Clubs Deadline: June 30 — June is the peak month for new clubs to charter. To avoid delays and ensure program year credit, submit your completed new club charter forms as early as possible—no later than 11:59 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time (MDT)/Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) -6 on June 30 to count towards the 2025-2026 Toastmaster year. If you have questions about starting a club, reference: How to Build a Toastmasters Club guide or contact the Club Quality and Member Support Team at newclubs@toastmasters.org. Remember, you can use the new Club Charter Requirements Form for easier submissions in place of Forms 2, 4,5,6a, and 6b.

Reporting Requirements Due July 15 — Throughout the year, District Directors are required to submit reports to World Headquarters. Please make sure that the District reporting requirements are met by July 15 to maintain access to the District reserve account and to gain access to District Central. Additional details will be provided in upcoming emails from the District Growth and Support and District Finance teams.

District Leader Assignment Tool — District Directors, please access the District Leader Assignments for the upcoming program year through District Central. There are no limits to the number of submissions and leaders should be assigned as soon as they are elected or appointed. The District Director-elect will have access to the District Leader Assignment tool beginning July 1, when their term begins.

Quarterfinals Underway — The 2025–2026 International Speech Contest continues at the quarterfinal level. Judging is taking place this month once each District has submitted a video of their first-place winner. Results from each quarterfinal contest will be announced by early July. Check back here to see who will be competing in the International Speech Contest Semifinals and then register to see them compete in Vancouver, British Columbia, at the Toastmasters International Convention.

2026 Accredited Speaker Program — The Accredited Speaker Program recognizes Toastmasters members who have reached professional-level status in their careers. In April, Level 1 applications and video presentations were reviewed by a panel of expert Accredited Speaker judges. We are excited to announce that three candidates will present at Level 2, taking place as part of the Toastmasters International Convention in Vancouver, British Columbia. All-New Exploration Education — Later this year, the first exploration, Online Meeting Mastery, will be available as part of the Pathways learning experience. Explorations are in-depth learnings comprised of three projects focused on a specific topic. In Online Meeting Mastery, members will build skills for attending, presenting, and facilitating in an online setting. District Translation Program — This is a reminder that this program allows districts to form a team of volunteer translators and reviewers to translate approved Toastmasters items not otherwise translated.
