In a world filled with constant change and competing demands, it’s easy to focus on roles, responsibilities, and routines, sometimes losing sight of the purpose that fuels confident communication and effective leadership. This session will help even the most dedicated Toastmasters leaders reconnect to their deeper “why.”
Through a dynamic and engaging experience, Joshua M. Evans will guide you toward rediscovering the meaning behind your voice, your leadership, and your impact within your club and beyond. By reconnecting to purpose, you will be able to better evaluate not only how you communicate, but how you inspire, influence, and motivate others. Joshua M. Evans

Joshua M. Evans is a keynote speaker and TEDx programmer who travels the globe empowering leaders with the tools needed to bring a critical element to the forefront of the future of work.
Evans began his career in the software technology space and spent over a decade in the corporate world. After becoming the leader of a strategic development group responsible for 70 million USD in revenue, he published his first best-selling book, Enthusiastic You! It was this book that launched him into speaking, where he has positively impacted the lives of workers and the cultures of organizations.
Evans studied workplace behavior for over 15 years, identifying the missing piece within most organizations and teams that can enhance organizational culture, employee experience, and team effectiveness: purpose.
His insights have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, Huffington Post, and many others. His clients include Fortune 500 companies, professional associations, and government agencies.
Evans lives in Texas, United States, where he spends his free time seeking out deep life experiences and adventures with his lovely wife and three spirited children.
