External Phone Connection Down

Toastmasters World Headquarters experienced an external phone outage from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. PT on April 15. The outage was caused by a failure in our modem device from Cox, our Internet Service Provider. The modem also connects Toastmasters World Headquarters with our external phone lines. Cox resolved the technical issue, and onsite Cox technicians recommend replacing the modem.

We are waiting to hear a more detailed explanation from Cox about why our phone connections were down for one hour. We will let you know as soon as information becomes available.
