Follow the Application Guidelines. Ask an AS to Mentor you in this process, we're here to help you succeed. Be a professional speaker BEFORE you apply. Have a speaker website, video clips, business card, speaking fees and the business mind-set of a professional speaker. Be versatile in your types of presentations (keynote, workshop,etc.). Submit a high-quality professionally done video (with great audio) with your Application.
