Round Two of Club Officer Training — Round Two of club officer training has begun! To receive credit in the Distinguished Club Program, the training must be entered online through District Central. District leaders may begin entering training in District Central starting mid-November. If you have any questions about club officer training, please contact districts@toastmasters.org.

Area Directors: Submit Your Club Visit Reports — To qualify for the Distinguished Area Program, Area Directors must submit an Area Director’s Club Visit Report for first-round visits for at least 75% of their clubs by November 30. The reports are submitted online through District Central.

Corporate Email Signature — Did you know there is a simple way for your clubs to promote to coworkers and colleagues? Let them know they can share the news of Toastmasters in their corporate signature! Instructions and artwork are available to download now from the Resource Library.

Tips for Nominating New District Leaders — The time to nominate District leaders is upon us. As you navigate this process, reference helpful resources such as the District Leadership Committee webpage, Protocol 9.0, and the FAQ.

Plan for Club Alignment — District Directors: it is time to prepare for club alignment for the 2022-2023 program year. Please direct your Alignment Committee to review the information on the alignment webpage, and then provide them with a current club directory. The directory can be obtained by sending an email to listrequest@toastmasters.org. For alignment questions, please reference Protocol 7.0 or you email District Growth and Support at districts@toastmasters.org.

Policy Violations Quick Reference Guide — Need help understanding the next steps when a policy violation occurs? The Policy Violations Quick Reference Guide is a wonderful resource; it covers the most common questions regarding club-, District-, and international-level violations.

International Candidates at District Events — Are you having an International Officer or Director candidate visit your District or make a presentation at one of your District events? Upcoming Mid-year Training — Throughout the month of January, Toastmasters International will conduct an online training program for 2021–2022 District Directors, Program Quality Directors, and Club Growth Directors. District leaders will develop core leadership skills, share best practices, and network with others from around the globe. Stay tuned for more information via email.

2021-2022 Speech Contests Reminder — Each District Executive Committee (DEC) chose a contest format of either in-person or online for the 2021-2022 Speech Contest Cycle. The format selected by the DEC applies to all Area-, Division-, and District-level contests. For more information, view the FAQ. If your District is conducting speech contests online, review the Online Speech Contest Best Practices document to learn more about the requirements for online speech contests and know what you can do to help your District and contestants prepare.
