What is your understanding of the Region Advisor role and how does your experience relate to the role?

For me, a Region Advisor is a guide who supports primarily the District Trios and Public Relations Managers to get the most from their leadership experience (as strategic leaders) and to fulfill in its entirety the District mission.

I believe my professional experience as an Executive & Team Coach will benefit the organization through my service in this role.

What is your experience with coaching individuals and/or teams?

I have been coaching leaders professionally for seven years. I now help executive teams to work cohesively and to create an environment that allows their own teams to perform at their natural best. In Toastmasters, I have had success in building numerous award-winning teams (committees) sometimes from scratch. The results of these teams supports my experience.

Why are you interested in serving as Region Advisor?

As a Leadership Practitioner and business owner I view my Toastmasters journey as an apprenticeship. I believe this role will give me the exposure and credibility of working with leaders from other (diverse) cultures than I have been currently exposed to in my business and my district. I also believe I can add value to District leaders seeking a guide in improving their leadership behavior, navigating people complexes, strategic thinking and tactical planning.
