Pat Johnson

Pat Johnson
Keynote speaker, Educator, Life and Leadership Coach, Author, Past International President of Toastmasters International

Pat Johnson has spoken in a long list of countries around the world as a keynote speaker and educator over the past 25 years. She wrote and published her first book, A Handbook for Building and Sustaining Vibrant Toastmasters Programs in Corporations, in 2018. She was International President of Toastmasters International in 2010-2011, Region 10 Advisor for Europe and the UK in 2020-2021, Region 2 Advisor in 2021-2022, and is the recipient of Toastmasters' Presidential Citation Award, given for outstanding leadership and communication on a global level.

Pat is passionate about her business, Pat Johnson & Associates, where she coaches leaders as they search for the greatest version of their authentic selves. She works to support individuals as they overcome their self-limitations and aspire to more in life. She is also an Affiliate Coach at Accomplishment Coaching and is a Certified World Class Speaker Coach.


Elizabeth Carter, PhD

Financial Director, Performance Improvement Leader, Speaker, Trainer, Author

Elizabeth Carter, Ph.D. is a director of finance for Highmark Health in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, (a Blue Cross Blue Shield Healthcare company), a performance improvement leader, speaker, trainer, and best-selling author. With over 25 years of experience working in corporate settings in a financial discipline, she has a passion for developing people, processes, and profits.

Elizabeth has been a Toastmaster since 2011, when she walked into the Caesar Rodney Toastmasters Club in Wilmington, Delaware. Since then, she has held every club officer role except Treasurer; she has held District leadership roles from the Area up to leading District 18 in region 7 as its Director in 2018-2019. She has achieved her DTM twice, completed the Dynamic Leadership path, and is working on the Leadership Development path.

Even though she moved from Delaware in September 2017 for a job in Western Pennsylvania, Dr. Carter continued her commitment to District 18, in addition to being recruited into the District 13 family.

Liz Jin

Liz Jin
Lawyer, Coca-Cola Executive

Liz Jin started her career as a corporate lawyer in New York and London. She is currently the director of business affairs at The Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta, Georgia, where she negotiates and manages celebrity talent deals and music, sports, gaming, and entertainment sponsorship deals.

Liz has been a member of Toastmasters since 2014 and served as the past president of Coca-Cola’s 310 North Toastmasters Club. She credits Toastmasters for inspiring her to start her storytelling blog/motivational YouTube channel, “Unbury That Badass.”

She loves her two nieces, strawberry glazed doughnuts, and true crime documentaries.

Samir Malak

Samir Malak
VP, Delivery Lead at Bank of America

Samir Malak began his career in technology as a support analyst for the Center for Creative Leadership in North Carolina. In 2000, he joined Bank of America as a developer and now supports delivery of technology projects in London. He has been granted the 2004 Bank of America Spirit Award (top 1% performers) and the 2020 Global Diversity & Inclusion Team Award for service as co-chair of the Multicultural Leadership Network.

In 2012, he joined Toastmasters, where he has served in numerous leadership roles at club and District levels. In June 2020, he completed a second traditional DTM in which all of the projects were completed online. Whether onsite or online, corporate or community, he has found the value of a supportive community gives him the power to empower others and to pursue his own passions at work and beyond.

In his spare time, he writes science fiction and poetry.
