John Zimmer, ACB, ALB, is an international speaker, trainer and lawyer. He has worked at a major Canadian law firm, the United Nations, the World Health Organization and is a full-time professional speaker. John was born in Canada and is fluent in English and French, and conversant in Italian, Arabic and German.
A seven-time District Champion of Toastmasters speech contests, he has 25 years of public speaking experience. John writes a popular blog about public speaking, “Manner of Speaking,” which was chosen by Prezi (known for its cloud-presentation software) as one of the “Top 100 Online Resources Every Presenter Should See.” He is also the co-creator of Rhetoric – The Public Speaking Game™.
John is married with two daughters, and he lives near Geneva, Switzerland where he enjoys cycling, skiing and performing improv comedy with his troupe, “The Renegade Saints.”
