Start A Club

Start a Toasmasters club and provide a proven educational program in a supportive, self-paced environment that improves communication and leadership skills. There are two types of clubs – Community and Corporate. Community clubs are generally open to anyone and meet at churches, colleges, community centers and restaurants. Corporate clubs are often limited to affiliates of the sponsoring company since the meeting location and some fees may be covered. If your organization is looking to build leaders from within, find out how to sponsor a club and why thousands already have. For additional information on starting a club, review the How to Build a Toastmasters Club manual and see some of the requirements below:

  • Find at least 20 interested candidates
  • Designate and secure a meeting location
  • Pay a one-time charter fee of $125
  • $20: One-time membership fee per person
  • $45: Six months' membership dues per person ($33.75 for clubs not in a district)
  • Additional dues: Clubs may also charge supplementary club dues to cover expenses.
