Poise and Power at the Zoo

If you meet Vicky Iozzia, you’re going
to have to meet her best pal, too.

And at 6,000 pounds, Lu is hard to miss. Lu, short for Lucifer, is a hippo. Both Vicky and Lu are enjoying second careers in Florida. Vicky uses her skills as a former teacher to enlighten zoo guests about hippos and other animals, while Lu uses his skills as a former animal actor to enliven the zoo’s stage alongside Vicky.
