I joined Toastmasters to help my English writing and speaking skills since English is not my native language. Toastmasters has helped me become a better person, because I can listen, speak and think more clearly. I see feedback in a more positive manner, at home, work and socially. I can also provide positive feedback to others when previously I would offer only criticism. I have also learned about the amazing tool of positive encouragement following the evaluation sessions at the club level.

Stress is something I can handle better now—I work full-time at my job while taking an active part in Toastmasters. I have also increased my ability to work within a team at Toastmasters, at work and at home. And I have a better understanding of the importance of vision, mission, critical success factors and core values. I have enjoyed all my years in Toastmasters and I will continue to have fun, and grow to become a better person.
