District Recognition

Recognizing performance excellence at all levels! 

Many Toastmasters members and groups deserve recognition for their achievements. World Headquarters and individual districts offer a variety of recognition programs and awards.

First, World Headquarters recognizes those districts that achieve their Distinguished District goals:

The Distinguished Programs recognize those areas, divisions and districts that meet Toastmasters International's growth and educational goals. The Distinguished Programs, which begin July 1 and end June 30 of each year, recognize performance excellence through the achievement of various goals. The programs also serve as management tools for membership recruitment and retention strategies, club growth, and educational award achievement.

Second, Toastmasters districts may recognize their own members locally for individual achievements:

Each district has the option to present three awards to its leaders who have helped to advance the district’s success. The Toastmaster of the Year award, the District Governor award and the Area Governor award may be presented by districts as warranted.
