Your Club Officer Kit is Coming

Follow these directions by March 15 to ensure that the materials for 2014-2015 officers arrive on time and in the correct language.

Membership-building Contest Ends March 31

Only a few weeks are left to earn the "Talk Up Toastmasters!" award. Make a great impression on club visitors by offering them guest packets with information about your club and the organization. LGETs: Get Credit for Club Officer Training  

Clubs with officers who attended the second round of training receive credit for Goal 9 in the Distinguished Club Program. Lieutenant governors education training must submit a Club Officer Training Report no later than March 31. Changes will not be accepted after May 31.

Area Governors: Complete Club Visits by May 31

During your visits, ensure that clubs create a supportive learning environment and the best possible member experience. Evaluate clubs based on the six club quality standards listed in the Moments of Truth. After each visit, don't forget to submit an online Area Governor's Club Visit Report.

Submit Dues Renewals Online

Please submit renewals through Club Central by April 1. For more information, visit www.toastmasters.org/duesrenewals.

An Easy Way to Keep Payment Records

Club officers can now view a detailed receipt history in a user-friendly Excel spreadsheet. To use this easy record-keeping tool, log in to Club Central and enter your username and password. Next:
  • Click the club name and number
  • Click Search Club Receipts
  • Enter the date range, click Export

Announcing International Speech Contest Semifinal Positions

Randomly selected assignments for contestants in the 2014 International Speech Contest Semifinals are now posted. Nine semifinal contests will be held during the convention in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The winner of each semifinal round will participate in the World Championship of Public Speaking.

Welcome 2014-2015 Region Advisors

The 2014-2015 region advisors have been appointed. Find out who will serve in your region in the next program year. Districts will continue to work with current region advisors through June 30, 2014.

Order a Communication and Leadership Award

If your district plans to present a Communication and Leadership Award to an outstanding communicator or leader at your second conference, contact supplyorders@toastmasters.org and place the order early to avoid delay.

How Is Your District Performing?

Is your district on target to meet its goals in the District Recognition Program by June 30? Stay updated by frequently monitoring your district's performance reports.

Reminder: New Club Membership Minimum

The Board voted during its August 2013 meeting to revise the club membership minimum to eight effective April 1, 2014. Therefore, beginning with the April 2014 dues renewals, a club will need eight members (three of whom must be renewing) to be eligible to renew.

Creating Conference Materials?   

If you intend to use the trademarked Toastmasters name and logo on a customized item, please follow the trademark and brand guidelines as outlined in the Brand Portal and Brand Manual and complete the recently updated Trademark Use Request Form.

February 2014 Board of Directors Meeting

During the February Board meeting, Policy 8.6: Use of Reserve Funds was revised and Protocol 2.1: Club Constitution: Modifications to Comply with Local Laws was newly established.
