The 2010 Convention Highlights

Strategic Plan 2010
In 2009, the Board of Directors set a course to develop a blueprint that would guide the organization’s growth and retention, education program development, revenue generation and global impact. The result is a 5-year Strategic Plan which lays the foundation for the Toastmasters we dream of – and one that we can plan for, achieve and become.
October Dues Renewals
Did you know that nearly 80 percent of Toastmasters clubs now pay their dues online? Club officers were notified via e-mail last week that starting September 1, 2010, payments for October dues renewals will be accepted online. Encourage your clubs to pay their dues early and avoid any system slowness due to heavy activity.
Region Advisor Application Process Is Open Until September 15!
Interested in being considered for the role of region advisor? Or do you know someone who would be a good fit? There’s still time to apply for the 2011–2012 program year.
Preparing for a District Visit?
Each year international officers and directors make district visits. The directors will work directly with you to schedule their visits, while a World Headquarters staff member will work with you to schedule international officer trips. If you are scheduled to receive a visit, be sure to check out the Web site for information on how to prepare.
