Term of Office: 2009-2011

As a director on the Toastmasters International Board of Directors, Ron Kirchgessner is a “working ambassador” for the organization and represents it in a variety of capacities. He works with the Board to develop, support and modify the policies and procedures that guide the organization toward fulfilling its mission.

A resident of Greenwood, Indiana, Kirchgessner has been a Toastmaster since 2001 and has attained the Distinguished Toastmaster designation – the highest level of achievement in the organization. His many leadership positions within Toastmasters have included area governor, district treasurer, lt. governor marketing as well as district governor.

He is a member of Greater Greenwood and Leadership Outreach Toastmasters clubs.

An associate consultant with Eli Lilly & Company in Indianapolis, Indiana, Kirchgessner says, “My Toastmasters training directly contributed to a promotion and provided the tools to survive a changing employment structure. These skills also improved my creative and problem-solving strengths.”

His interests include computers, strategy gaming, travel, exploring other cultures and whitewater rafting.
