The title of 2012 World Champion of Public Speaking was awarded to Ryan Avery of Portland, Oregon, United States, District 7 for his speech "Trust is a Must." Second- and third-place winners were, respectively, Palaniappa Subramaniam of Kulim Kadah, Malaysia, District 51 for his speech "Finding the Right Shoes" and Stuart Pink of Attleboro, Massachusetts, United States, District 31, for his speech "Brain Lifting: A Crash Course in Creativity."
