Hotel Rate
The Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek resort is offering Toastmasters International a special room rate of $149 a night (plus applicable taxes), based on availability. Reserve your room online here. Visiting the United States
Before traveling to the United States, citizens of foreign countries must generally obtain a U.S. visa from an American embassy in their home countries. One of the documents required when applying for a visa is a letter providing information about:
- The purpose of the trip
- The traveler's intent to depart the U.S. after the trip
- Arrangements made to cover the cost of the trip
If you need this letter to travel to the convention in August, please email your request today to conventionregistration@toastmasters.org so it can be provided in time. If your country requires an original letter (as opposed to a copy), then please request that it be mailed to you.

Convention Attire
Business or casual attire is appropriate for events held during the day. Business, semi-formal and formal attire are all appropriate for the Golden Gavel Dinner and President’s Dinner Dance. Average temperatures in August range from daytime highs in the 90s to the low 70s (Fahrenheit) at night. Temperatures inside the meeting rooms may vary, so please plan accordingly.
