Airport Transportation and Tours

Toastmasters International wants to make your visit to Malaysia an enjoyable and memorable experience. We have partnered with Reliance Conventions & Events to provide ground transportation to and from the airport to your hotel, in addition to a variety of daytime and evening tours. Take this opportunity to explore the sights, sounds and cuisine of Kuala Lumpur with Toastmasters from around the world!

Ground Transportation Options
The following options are for ground transportation from the airport to your hotel. Please note that all rates are for one-way travel.

Private car (Mercedes): Flat rate MYR 300 per car per way for up to maximum of three passengers:

  • A dedicated car will transport yourself and any other passengers that you specify in “special notes”. There is no additional charge for the 2nd and 3rd passenger as this is a flat rate.
  • Please note that additional passengers booked must be traveling on the same flight and staying at the same hotel.

Van shared by up to maximum of five Toastmasters: MYR 150 per person per way:

  • Reliance will put you in a van with other Toastmasters arriving at the same time and staying at hotels in close proximity to each other.
  • We cannot guarantee who will be sharing your vehicle, but you can make a request in “special notes”.

Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Ekspres: MYR 140 per person per way:

  • You will board the train at the airport and will be transported to KL Sentral.
  • A car will pick you up at KL Sentral and take you to your hotel.

“Kuala Lumpur is Beautiful” City Tour
View the beauty and intrigue of Kuala Lumpur in one sweep. This tour gives you a colorful spectrum of Malaysian architecture, history, culture, heritage, crafts and lifestyle.

Batu Caves, Arts and Handicrafts
Visit one of Malaysia’s most popular Hindu shrines and view how Malaysia’s most distinctive crafts are produced at the Royal Selangor Pewter Factory and batik production center.

Garden and Parks Tour
Kuala Lumpur Lake Garden is also known as Taman Tasik Perdana (Perdana Lake Garden). The city’s first public park provides a recreational area for city folks to take a break from the normal routine. It’s built around two lakes and many other attractions.

Highlights include:

  • The park is approximately 92 hectares in size. The park’s transportation takes you to the various attractions around the garden.
  • The Hibiscus Garden, which features many varieties of hibiscus, the national flower of Malaysia.
  • KL Butterfly Park, which features more than 6,000 butterflies of more than 120 species, a souvenir shop and an insect museum. KL Bird Park has the world’s largest walk-in free-flight aviary, housing more than 3,000 birds of various species.

Kuala Lumpur Heritage Trail
Enjoy this unique walking tour of the city’s heritage precinct. View the Sri Maha Mariamman Hindu Temple built in a unique human-like shape. Sample a cup of frothy “The Tarik” and stroll past the old Victoria’s Jubilee Fund Building (1887). Next, visit the Chan See Shu Yuen Association, constructed in 1906. It is a fine example of old Chinese temple architecture. The walk ends at the bustling Chinatown street market where bargain hunters can find items of every description and quality.

Mingle with the locals at bustling Chinatown and enjoy a potpourri of different Malaysian cultural performances while delighting in a sumptuous Malay buffet dinner in Kuala Lumpur.

Next you will drive to one of the most impressive landmarks of the city—the Menara KL Tower—the tallest tower in Asia, standing 1,380 feet tall. Take a high-speed elevator to the Atmosphere 360 Revolving Restaurant for a lavish buffet dinner of modern and authentic Malaysian and international cuisine.
