Relevant work experience and how it relates to Toastmasters and your role as a region advisor:

I have managed engineering departments chartered with meeting the staffing needs of line projects while helping the employees achieve their career goals. It has been my responsibility to oversee multi-million dollar budgets, to plan for success, and to track project actuals to meet organizational goals, all while inspiring the employees to perform to those goals and to aspire to greater career development. Team building and team performance are the basis of our daily activities.

What key strengths do you bring to the district leaders?

I've served as the DCP Committee Chair for several years, serving on Past District Governor Advisory Committees for different districts, and have visited every district in my home region multiple times. This has given me a sense of typical district challenges. I have the skills to analyze a district's situation, the enthusiasm to inspire teams to perform, and the ability to make training relatable.

Why are you interested in serving as region advisor?

I look forward to helping our organization become even better at serving our members' needs. It is my fondest wish to help our district leaders grow our organization so that even more people will realize the benefits of Toastmasters.
