Relevant work experience and how it relates to Toastmasters and your role as a region advisor:

In my professional career spanning 20 years in the area of building homes and marketing realty, I have dealt with people from different walks of life, different age groups, and different strata of society successfully. Engaging with each of these groups has helped me deal with my success and failure with equanimity. I can utilize my marketing skills to help the district growth of new clubs and sustaining existing ones.

What key strengths do you bring to the district leaders?

Being a part of Toastmasters since 1999 and contributing to the growth of District 82/92 as a leader has given me opportunities to engage and interact with youngsters and seniors of both genders. This learning will help me in dealing with perspectives and aspirations of wide cross section of people. As a leader, I have understanding, fairness, integrity, mutual respect and “walking the talk.” These key aspects will help the district leaders in performing their roles better.

Why are you interested in serving as region advisor?

The movement as such has given me enormous experience, learning and growth as a human being, a leader and a family man. People now know me for who I am, instead of who I was. I want to give back to the organization that has changed me so much. Training is one area that gives me satisfaction; I regularly train at my district and externally, too. I want to enable the other districts with my learning and learn, too.
