How does your experience relate to Toastmasters and the region advisor role:

My purpose on this earth is to teach and inspire. I believe members walk away and clubs fail because the member is not first and foremost; every time we meet, it should be an experience. An experience that when a guest walks into our space, they don't want it to end. I feel that I can fire up those whom I work with to give their absolute best and encouraging them to always keep the members first and to make the Toastmaster journey an adventure. I believe you accomplish this through consistent interaction and always being willing to grow, learn, and share.

What is your experience with coaching individuals and/or teams? What key strengths do you bring to the district leaders?

I have been a softball coach for 21 years, and my teams have won state and regional championships while I served as head coach. I live to coach others. In Toastmasters, my biggest joy is to work with a new or shy member and watch them blossom. It is moments and member experiences like helping them to shine that motivates me to apply for the region advisor position, and to inspire all leadership to reach for those moments.

Why are you interested in serving as region advisor?

I believe I am especially suited for this role as I live to inspire, motivate and fire up a team. Whoever I have the pleasure of working with will remember our year together forever. I am a results-driven person and think that the region advisor's job is to help the districts be the best that they can be, while taking bold steps to build new clubs and supporting all clubs in achieving excellence.
