How does your experience relate to Toastmasters and the region advisor role:
Region advisors always need to inculcate branding and the core values of Toastmasters International and encourage corporate visits or other forums during official district visits. They also help resolve conflicts when approached by the district leadership and support them in training.
What is your experience with coaching individuals and/or teams? What key strengths do you bring to the district leaders?
I have mentored members to compete in speech contests from club to convention level. Additionally, I have coached district leaders with an open-door policy. Club building, open houses, new club charter process, parliamentary procedure, branding, and club constitution have been major topics of discussion during my trainings as well.
Why are you interested in serving as region advisor?
This role will help me grow as a leader in the organization and allow me to share and support districts with wide area of knowledge and experience I earned during my tenure of different leadership roles. Being a citizen belonging to the region, I understand what works well when we talk about sustainability, growth, and resolution of conflicts or other matters.
