How does your experience relate to Toastmasters and the region advisor role:
I helped develop the marketing manual for Club Growth Directors, and I serve as a mentor to the district's current CGD. I have also developed and delivered a presentation on a district marketing strategy for D45 district officers, and I was on the committee that looked at conflict in districts and helped write the report on that topic.
What is your experience with coaching individuals and/or teams? What key strengths do you bring to the district leaders?
In all my roles, I have worked with individuals and teams to help them understand their role on the district team and encourage them to build their own teams, while recognizing the skills they have and the skills that others can bring to their team.
Why are you interested in serving as region advisor?
The role of region advisor has developed substantially since I was one of the inaugural region advisors. I feel there is still further development and that I have the knowledge and skills to help with that development. I also feel I have significant experience that I can bring to my work with other districts to help them achieve success.
