Peter Hanson Coors is the chairman of the Coors Brewing Company in Colorado, USA, and vice chairman of Molson Coors Brewing Company. He is chairman of the board for the University of Colorado Hospital Foundation and part-owner of a major league baseball team, the Colorado Rockies.
Coors joined a Toastmasters club at the Coors Brewing Company early in his career to help him gain the skills and confidence he would need when appearing as the company spokesman for a series of national TV commercials.
In 2004, he declared his candidacy for U.S. Senate. Coors was defeated but may run again in 2008.
