What do you like most about being a translation reviewer for the Toastmasters Pathways learning experience?
Having the opportunity to contribute and help prepare the Pathways learning experience for members, especially those who are not proficient in English, so that they can enjoy an equal amount of resources and support which is a basic right they deserve in their path of learning to be better communicators and leaders.
As a lead reviewer, I have to check the revisions from first reviewers. It's a great learning experience to see what has been revised and it's also a challenge to determine whether to accept the revisions or make further modifications. I enjoy the discussion process with reviewers' team. Sometimes it was just an common word in English but we spent quite a long time to select a more appropriate translation. I like the sense of searching for excellence which meets the Toastmasters spirit."
"Being a reviewer, the best thing is that you have the chance to see the newest speech manual. And, you have to read it!"
