Creating Materials with the Toastmasters Logo

ShareThis

Toastmasters International offers a variety of branded club and district materials on the brand portal. If you cannot find the materials you need, you may wish to create your own using Toastmasters’ trademarks or copyrights. Before you begin, please be sure to review Toastmasters’ Policy and Protocol regarding trademarks and copyrights and follow these steps to ensure you are communicating the brand properly and protecting Toastmasters' intellectual property:

1. Design your materials. Download the District and Club Leader Brand Manual at www.toastmasters.org/brandmanual for the brand guidelines. As you create your material, remember to incorporate the logo, verbal guidelines, typography, color palette, graphic elements and photos to ensure that your designs match the Toastmasters look and feel. Use the templates provided through the Toastmasters brand portal and online store as a model for your designs. Check out the Marketing Materials, Marketing Resources and Stationery web pages for samples.

2. Brand check. Email an electronic sample to brand@toastmasters.org for branding approval. Toastmasters International will let you know if the designs are following Toastmasters’ brand protocol and notify you if modifications are required in your message or design.

3. Request approval to use trademarks. Submit an official Trademark Use Request Form for permission to use the Toastmasters International logo. (Review the lists below before submitting.) This process may take up to two weeks. Submission of this form does not guarantee approval. Do not purchase or print any orders until you receive permission. In all cases the Executive Director has final authority.
